Marie Kirk – Hanover Housing Association - September 2011 “The NYCC Councillors, local MP and Lord Best ALL used words like ‘WOW’, ‘blown away by the styling’, ‘gobsmacked’, ‘fantastic’! about Popplewell Springs. Everyone was absolutely delighted by the styling and colours you have used. Using local artists was an excellent idea alone, but the artefacts you have chosen and where you have placed them is simply stunning. Well done!”
N J Chambers - Chief Executive of LACE Housing Association - August 2010 ‘Situated in the market town of Grantham in Lincolnshire, Brick Kiln Place is the third ‘Housing with Extra Care’ Scheme and sixth development by LACE Housing Association in the past 4 years. The success of the Associations Development Program is as a result of engaging with the Architect and Interior Designer at a very early stage in the project. Stanbridge Interiors have been the appointed interior designer for all three ‘Housing with Extra Care’ Schemes, two Retirement Housing Schemes and an Office developed by the Association. They have demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the needs and demands of those in need of specialist accommodation incorporating the plan/layout of communal facilities, recommended materials/finishes and appropriate colour scheme. The use of CAD plans and subsequent 3D visuals has enabled all engaged with the development to gain a clear and collective vision for the scheme. Their ongoing commitment throughout the development process ensures that the agreed vision becomes a reality. It is without doubt that Stanbridge Interiors bring immense added value to the development of ‘Housing with Extra Care’. Their professionalism and attention to detail has been invaluable and I would have no doubt in recommending their services to others seeking a high standard of accommodation and communal facilities.’
Sue Lewis - Head of Supported Housing Services - Trans Pennine Housing - June 2010 “When developing our third extra care scheme Willow Court, we were determined to do it differently. Following the principles of inclusive design, we aimed to have a much higher quality and contemporary design and finish rather than the standard older peoples housing look from traditional to stylish whilst still being suitable for older people. Our aim underpinned all aspects of design, including the interior decorations and furnishings. Getting the interior design right was the last but crucial part of our ‘Inclusive Design’ jigsaw and Stanbridge Interiors delivered for us, 110%. As well as the finished product, Stanbridge provided the complete customer package, from design ideas to full fit out, whilst accommodating us as the client and most importantly, our customers too. The comments we have gathered about our extra care scheme speak volumes for what we have achieved and we couldn’t have done that without Stanbridge Willow Court has been entered for the HCA Design Awards and is shortlisted for the ageing population category. Since the completion of Willow Court in Nov 2009, we have commissioned Stanbridge to do the interior design for the refurbishment of a sheltered scheme. Whilst this was an even tighter budget and timescale, once again, we have a scheme that is first class thanks to the interior design by Stanbridge”.
Dee Hiley – Development Officer – South Yorkshire Housing Assn I was very impressed by the level of service, commitment to quality whilst working within budgetry confines, and approachability of your team when I worked with Sarah Mossman on the Whitfield House scheme. The finish that Sarah achieved at Whitfield House was beyond my expectations. Colleagues and local authority partners were equally impressed and pleased with the finish. The colour choices and soft furnishings create a welcoming atmosphere of luxury, taste, sensitivity to the original period features and age of the 19th building. Each room is a pleasure to spend time in. Re: Busk Meadow Extra Care Scheme, Sheffield I am writing to thanks you for the service you and your team provided during the development of the above scheme. From the initial designs through to the completion of the furnishing of the scheme, you have provided a most professional and responsive service which has resulted in an interior design which not only met our brief but has delighted both residents and staff at The Meadows. We look forward to working with you on our future developments.
Debbie Doliner – Older people Service Manager (CDHA) Chichester Diocesan Housing Association Ltd At Hyde we provide accommodation based services for people living in Supported Housing. I have worked closely with Stanbridge Interiors on various projects. including the furnishing of two newly built extra-care sheltered housing schemes. and the refurbishment of a resident’s communal lounge. I have always been impressed with the service that I have received. The furniture has always fully met the needs of the older people I work with. It is always very different to the traditional furnishings you would expect to find in sheltered housing and the quality of the furniture is excellent. The goods have always arrived on time and if there have been any problems, your staff has always responded quickly and efficiently. I would have no hesitation recommending Stanbridge Interiors to others.
Frank Mummery – Board ChairmanLinx Housing Trust June 2005 From the outset they were professional, flexible and approachable. The new building was to be of modern design and the interior décor offered to us by Stanbridge was a perfect fusion of contemporary styling, comfort and practicability. The colour schemes were superb with all soft furnishings and accessories complementing them admirably. Finn Lester stayed over 3 days for the official opening to ensure everything was in place – her attention to detail was superb. We would recommend Stanbridge Interiors unreservedly for any future commissions 2006 The excellent “feel" that this gave to the whole scheme, and in particular how well it had performed since completion, in so far as people felt it continued to look as good as when it was completed. It is a scheme that new Linx Housing Trust is rightly very proud of, and Ii am sure your organisation can feel the same about your contribution towards the finished product. We asked Stanbridge to assist us in a programme of improvement works to ‘hard to let’ studio flats. We were delighted by the finished product and particularly the attention to detail during the implementation of the works. The flats were transformed and more than fulfilled the brief. Although not a cheap option, the finished product was felt to offer value for money. Tenant Yorsalem Tekle said “I’d seen other flats but when I saw this I thought ‘Oh my God’ it’s beautiful. I love it so much I don’t want to go out of the building!’ |
